I’m starting the gift game off strong with a gift set. They range in price from cheap to expensive and stand out against individual gifts being paired together.
Yes, I say expensive without hesitation because sometimes you really need to spoil your friends and like many things in life get what you pay for. If you want to treat them like the queen they are, then don’t be cheap. There are times in life to be cheap and times when you need to bring out your big girl wallet: your friend getting engaged is one of those times.
Gifts sets have the advantage of sticking to one singular theme, color, and each piece is carefully planned out to go with one another.
Gift sets (beyond popular belief) typically save you money and will come wrapped and ready to go in a pretty box.
Most gift sets will allow you to choose the individual gifts that go inside and can even be personalized, yet still match a common theme so you don’t need to run to a million stores on you own in order to do so.
I can’t tell you how many different targets I’ve had to go to in order to stick to a theme, or specific color pattern because one store was sold out but the one an hour away had what I needed.
There is something special about receiving a gift set. It makes you feel as if your friend really put in the extra mile and makes you appreciate them even more.

If you haven’t noticed a common theme among the gift sets, it is clearly glasses of some sort.
Tumblers are a versatile item that can store coffee in the am and wine in the pm.
Tumblers are great for those who like to keep their liquids at the proper hot or cold temperatures.
Almost all of them are customizable and versatile.
If you have a clumsy friend, I highly recommend a tumbler vs. a standard coffee cup.
I ordered a set of coffee mugs for my fiance and myself, and his broke within the first week…hopefully, that’s not a bad omen, lol.
In hindsight, I should have ordered a tumbler from the start.
If you want to get a tumbler that will last past the engagement stage, it is always a safe bet to customize it with her future last name, date of the wedding or initials of the couple.

Listen, I don’t care who you are or what you have heard, but a girl can NEVER have too many candles.
What is even better is a candle is a perfect gift for someone engaged because she can use it all during her engagement, and it will most likely burn up before her wedding. This is a good thing because it means it is a gift that fits the engagement period and won’t be something she will feel the need to get rid of once she goes from Miss to Mrs.
Candles are great for any type of friendship you may have. If you are super close, you can get a sentimental one, and if you are looking to get one for your brother’s girlfriend you weren’t the biggest fan of, then go ahead and get a funny one.

Manicure Kit
This is one of the suggestions that you might be going ah-ha, such a good idea…or you might be scratching your head.
Here’s the logic. Some women are like me, and we are very intuitive about everything around us. If my fiance had pushed that I get a manicure before we left for our vacation (where he proposed), I would have been super suspicious and probably would have known he was going to pop the question on the trip.
I can’t imagine if we wouldn’t have gone on vacation what my reaction would have been if he randomly told me to get a manicure. Like, I wouldn’t just randomly tell him to buy a brand new golf driver or a new gaming mouse.
Gifting a manicure kit, especially one that can be sent directly to her, allows her to paint her nails to show off her ring with pride and not worry about her chippy nails. For those who have been married for a while, you might forget how exciting it is to show everyone your ring. I even find myself showing servers or people at the supermarket just because I am so ecstatic.
Another genius move with the manicure kit is the fact that your future bestie bride might not be comfortable going to get her nails done due to covid, or perhaps she can’t get an appointment since they are booked and taking limited customers.
